Microsclerotherapy

Microsclerotherapy is a treatment that is used to treat thread veins, also known as spider veins. These are typically found on the legs and can also appear across the whole body.

The microsclerotherapy treatment is a solution made up of salt that is injected directly into the spider veins. This solution reacts with the vein walls to make them swell and stick together, sealing them shut. This will prevent the flow of blood and the varicose vein will become scar tissues. That vein will then be reabsorbed by the body which allows the blood to re-route to healthier veins. This treatment can offer visible results from the first session, but we do advise more than one session to completely get rid of spider veins.
